Jumhouria Bank Completes the Core Banking System Upgrade

Within the framework of the ambitious business plan carried out by the Jumhouria Bank, in addition to the Bank’s keenness to keep pace with the latest technology developments and provide the best banking products and services with the highest levels of efficiency and quality, the Deputy General Manager of the Jumhouria Bank, who is also the head of the Steering Committee of the Banking System Development Project confirms the completion of all the necessary stages for the upgrade of the Oracle FLEXCUBE core banking system to the new version (14.3), which will contribute to enhancing the bank's performance and ensure the provision of many advanced banking services and products with high efficiency in all branches of the Jumhouria Bank.

Thus, we announce that the bank will resume work and open its doors to customers as of next Sunday, 9th/ October/2022, according to the official work schedule approved for the Libyan commercial banks. We express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya for his unlimited support and confidence in the honourable Libyan expertise and competencies, in addition to his continuous encouragement and daily follow-up which played a significant part in the success of this ambitious project.

Our gratitude and appreciation also extends to the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors, and the General Manager of the Jumhouria Bank, as well as the officials and employees of the bank, and everyone who contributed in this project.

We apologize for the temporary closure during the past few days, which was required by the nature of our work and the requirements of the core banking system upgrade process.
